Firearm Training & Permit Resources
The New York State Pistol Permit training course is a state-mandated requirement for individuals applying for or upgrading a pistol permit in New York. Which Class Do I Need?

NYS Pistol Permit Safety Training is required for first-time applicants and for permit holders seeking amendments or upgrades, including concealed carry, under New York State law. This training consists of three separate sessions that must be completed in order, with all sessions required to satisfy the NYS-mandated 18-hour training requirement.
Utah Concealed Carry Permit Training is a separate, one-time course for individuals seeking a non-resident permit that offers reciprocity in multiple states outside of New York.
